Interactive mural map of Bialystok. Mecca of Esperanto, a city of many cultures and religions, a city with a magnificent magnate residence, which has been visited by opera enthusiasts from all over the country for several years. However, there is also the lesser-known street art town of Bialystok. Murals are a new showcase of the city, which every year attracts new fans. The first map of murals on the Białystok blog was created subjectively in autumn 2017. We marked 30 street art works on it. Undoubtedly, it turned out to be a hit. Thousands of entrances, downloads and … dozens of tourists wandering around the city with a crumpled, green and white sheet of paper. Several months passed and a large part of our map turned out to be outdated. The tool in the form of an uneditable printout in the spring of 2018 needed to be corrected. Why? First of all, street art is an ephemeral art… Today the mural is pleasing to the eye, tomorrow it is covered as a result of the thermal modernization of the building or … destroyed by vandals.

Therefore, in response to your comments and remarks, we have created a new, editable, interactive map that can be used from a smartphone. Often street art works are created on the occasion of cyclical artistic events organized by the city of Białystok. These murals have been specified – the legend will make it easier to locate them. The thematic diversity of the Białystok paintings is even incredible! We are particularly proud of the anti-discrimination murals and murals made by famous artists such as Milla, Roskowiński or Swanski. However, in our city Zofia Nałkowska, Nikola Tesla and ….
